ROCK Desktop - v1.17.6 Latest

Released

New

  • Automatic broadcast ephemeris for GNSS processing (rolling out gradually)
ROCK Desktop can now automatically download complete satellite navigation (broadcast ephemeris) data for your flight and use it when processing your trajectory. This improves results when a base station's own recorded navigation data is sparse or incomplete — a common cause of failed or low-quality PPK trajectories with some third-party base stations (e.g. Emlid Reach). It runs automatically whenever you're online, with no extra steps. You can turn it off under File → Preferences → Settings → "Prefer broadcasted ephemeris."
  • Reference a support ticket when sending in data
When submitting data or logs to ROCK Support from within ROCK Desktop, you can now include an existing support ticket number so your submission is automatically linked to your ongoing conversation with our team.

Improvements & Fixes

  • More reliable GNSS trajectory processing
We updated the trajectory processing engine for greater reliability and broader compatibility with base station data. This resolves cases where certain base station files — for example, newer receiver firmware exporting RINEX 3.05 or additional BeiDou signals — could cause trajectory processing to fail with a generic "internal error."
